Rubio Monocoat in the heart of Paris

Looking for the right gear or the right material for your next sport activity? Then remember the name of this shop when visiting Paris: “Au Vieux Campeur", located in the beautiful historic building "Printemps Haussmann". Not only the building is charming, also the interior of the store makes it worthwhile! And another plus: the store is completely covered in Rubio Monocoat: from the oak furniture to the wallcoverings.

The interior of the store was created thanks to the good cooperation between Ebénisterie Créative and Artexia Architecture. They had worked together before which turned out to be a great success.

Ebénisterie Créative got to know our Rubio Monocoat products in September 2019. After a few tests, they were completely convinced. Ebénisterie Créative quickly saw the many advantages of using Rubio Monocoat: a one-layer system that preserves the natural look of the wood and in the end, makes you save a lot of time. These characteristics were the perfect match for the interior of «Au Vieux Campeur».

Natural look & feel
When you walk into the store you immediately feel the warm, natural atmosphere. They created this warm, natural vibe by combining the right colours and using green accents in the interior. Ebénisterie Créative made a well-considered decision about the colours: they wanted bright, natural shades with the aim of putting the products in the spotlight.

They chose to work with Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C in different shades. The colours used in the interior of the store are: Mud Light, Mist, Gris Belge, Charcoal, Pure, Mist 5%, Sky Grey, Cotton White, Super White and Cornsilk. All natural colours that give the store a warm look.

Only attractive benefits
In addition to the one-layer system, Ebénisterie Créative enjoyed some other important advantages when using Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C. The oil is durable and allows local repair. Moreover, the extensive colour palette is also a big plus and the honey scent of the oil makes the application a lot more pleasant.
