School brings wooden playhouse back to life using Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Wood Protector
The Pleasant Valley Cooperative Preschool had a small wooden playhouse in need of a protecting finish that is natural and safe for the children. Rubio Monocoat was more than happy to donate product to reinvigorate the small playhouse.
The Pleasant Valley Cooperative Preschool has been a pillar of Camarillo, CA since 1968. Their vision is “to partner with parents in creating lifelong lovers of learning.” This is a vital aspect of any community and the good folks at the Pleasant Valley Co-op meet the challenge head on. They cherish parent input and stress the importance of parent participation. They hold to the belief that, “parent participation takes time, but you gain so much! While your child is developing skills and socializing, you too are increasing your parenting skills and sharing your child’s preschool world!”
According to Samantha Fitts, the head Pre-K teacher at the school, the cedar play house’s color has held up well to the elements. The reaction from both children and parents have been positive. The kids love it and the parents have commented on how nice it makes their backyard look. This is not the Co-Op’s first-time using Rubio Monocoat. In fact, they have also used Hybrid Wood Protector Royal on two tables, a deck and their arbor all with the same positive results. Thanks to the hard work of the Pleasant Valley Co-Op and one coat of safe and effective Rubio Monocoat oil, this play house will continue to inspire young minds for many years to come.
